- Make a list of 10 academic challenges that first-year college students might face in their first semester college.
- Choose three of those challenges to focus on. For each challenge, write a paragraph that describes the challenge in a way that readers will easily recognize it. This paragraph might include a scenario or information on the causes of the challenge. For each challenge, write another paragraph that outlines the knowledge, strategies, and habits that a student would need to overcome the challenge. In this second paragraph, include the names of experts you could draw on to coach a student facing that particular challenge. You should end up with 6 chunky paragraphs.
